About Us

 Amit Is a seasoned accountant with over 10 years over experience in the Public, private and banking sector. Having worked in Accounting in Big Multinationals and Small Businesses; as well as being an auditor with the Canada Revenue Agency(CRA), he founded BHTAX CPA with a few objectives; the MAIN one being providing Cash flow and financial clarity to Small and Emerging Businesses.

Through a blended approach of  providing Planning, Bookkeeping, Accounting and Tax services, backed with a learning component, individuals under a retainer agreement with BHTAX CPA will harness years of experience across several industries, empowering them to make better decisions now, for the short and long term.

Amit holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Studies from York University and is a member of good standing with CPA Ontario. He is fluent in English and French. He also speaks some Hindi and Urdu.

He is also a graduate of the Financial Officer and Recruitment Development (FORD) program of the Government of Canada where he obtained his CPA designation.

Whenever he is not crunching numbers, you will find him spending some quality time with his wife and 3 children. He is also an avid soccer fan and digs nature.

Abhi is an experienced account executive with over 5 years of experience in Various industries including hospitality, retail and wholesale, imports and exports, and others.  Budgeting, Bookeeping, financial statements, variance analysis, Team building & management, among others are his forte. He is holder of a certificate from Middlesex University and currently a member of ACCA. In his free time, he loves hiking and that's something he is very passionate about. His favorite quote "Love what you do and you'll enjoy going it". This is him on top of a mountain in beautiful Mauritius.
