MEET: AMIT BHUNDHOO, CPA
Amit is an experienced accountant with a rich background spanning over a decade in the public, private, and banking sectors. With extensive experience in accounting within multinational corporations, small businesses, and as an auditor at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Amit founded BHTAX CPA with a primary focus on delivering cash flow management and financial clarity to small and emerging businesses.
At BHTAX CPA, Amit offers a comprehensive range of services, including planning, bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services, with an added emphasis on continuous learning. Clients who engage under a retainer agreement with BHTAX CPA benefit from Amit's wealth of industry experience, enabling them to make informed decisions for both short-term and long-term financial goals.
Amit holds a Bachelor's Degree in Administrative Studies from York University and is a member of CPA Ontario, upholding the highest professional standards. Fluent in English and French, he also possesses a working knowledge of Hindi and Urdu.
Furthermore, Amit is a graduate of the Financial Officer Recruitment and Development (FORD) program offered by the Government of Canada, through which he obtained his CPA designation. He is thus well versed in planning & budgeting while being mindful of overall public good.
When he is not immersed in number crunching, Amit values quality time with his wife and three (Soon 4) children. An ardent soccer fan, he also appreciates the beauty of nature.
